What is the difference between the North and South Courses?
As far as difficulty, they slope nearly the same. From the back tees, the North is 134 slope and the South is 133. From the middle tees, the South is 130 and the North is 129. The North is set on higher terrain with large undulated greens and rolling fairways, while the South winds through a beautiful wooded valley where streams and creeks come into play on 11 of the 18 holes. The South is slightly shorter, and its fairways are tighter than the North Course.
How does The General play and compare to the North and South?
There are 250 feet of elevation changes throughout The General, with spectacular vistas of three states and rock outcroppings. The signature hole, #14, is a par 4 with 180 feet of elevation change from tee to green. This course is a must see and play. The General slopes at 137 from the back tees. It is a very playable course if you play the tees recommended for your level of handicap. The General is our only course with bent grass fairways.
How does the East Course play?
The East Course is a par 34 9-hole course with one par 5 and three par 3's. It has challenging undulated greens, is short and tight, and plays just as difficult in relationship to par as the other courses. The East Course is very scenic and a great place to play your third 9 of the day.
Where are your practice facilities?
The practice range is located at the North Course and is one of the best target ranges you will ever see. There are seven target greens starting at 75 yards, which continue every 25 yards out to 225. You can clearly see your ball land on every one of them. The South Course has a quiet pitching and bunker area with two greens and bunkers. All four of our courses have practice putting greens. The East Course has an extra large putting green with a 9-hole putting course – a great place for putting and chipping practice. The Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa Golf Academy has a private instruction area with a new 10,000 square foot chipping and putting green that is used for all schools.
Is there food and beverage service at the courses?
All courses have their own clubhouses with full-service bar, grill areas and patios with scenic views. The patios are an ideal place to relax after your round or for evening cocktails.
