As a result, Americans are also quickly learning about the benefits of enjoying a quality wine with their favorite meal. When wine and food are paired correctly they create a synergy that not only improves the flavors of both, but creates a great deal of pleasure and enjoyment. At Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa the Bacchus Wine Dinners celebrate this wonderful combination in an exclusive style of excellence and education.
Named for the Roman God of Wines, Bacchus, the wine dinners at Eagle Ridge are designed to not only delight the connoisseur, but also to educate the novice. Our Eagle Ridge sommeliers work hand and hand with the resort’s chefs and award-winning culinary staff in blending the flavors of their menu choices with the flavors of the wines. Culinary preparations are often designed exclusively for the Bacchus events to ensure the finest meal matches the total wine experience.
Bacchus Dinners are held in the Woodlands Restaurant’s private dining rooms for a more intimate and quality setting. The guest list is limited in an effort to promote a warm and interactive setting, so reservations are taken on a first come, first served basis. Bacchus Dinners are currently scheduled for April 8, May 20, June 17, Aug. 26 and Oct. 14.
While set dates are in place for open Bacchus Dinners throughout the year, private dinners are also available in the resort’s distinctive homes, or in our banquet rooms for larger gatherings, making it a perfect venue for a private party, corporate event, bridal shower or wine pairing dinner. Professional chefs, certified wine specialists and event planners are available to help with all the details.
