See the Mississippi Aboard the Celebration Belle
Open all year for the pleasure of our Illinois resort guests here at Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa, the Celebration Belle is a deluxe, 800 passenger, four-deck riverboat and the largest luxury riverboat excursion vessel on the Upper Mississippi River.
Guests to our Illinois resort rave about the vessel’s scenic cruises on the Mississippi River, which take you through some of the area's most historically rich locations. Perhaps the most famous of the cruises is a 100-mile daylong cruise complete with three homemade meals, afternoon snacks, and live entertainment.
The 100-mile cruise departs from the Quad City area on Mondays and cruises upriver to Dubuque, IA, not far from our Illinois resort. On Tuesdays, Illinois resort passengers can board in Dubuque and cruise south to Moline, IL.
The Celebration Belle has significantly boosted tourism along the river. The boat has brought in many out-of-town Illinois resort visitors to the area and some as far as 1,000 miles away. The Schadler's, who own the boat, hosted the King and Queen of Sweden aboard their vessel, as well as many international groups.
In recent years, the state of Illinois named the Celebration Belle as one of it's top forty attractions, making it the perfect pastime for our Illinois resort guests in search of adventure.
